Freestyle Martial Arts

If your martial arts club prefers freestyle semi contact and light continuous are the regular sparring sections selected. Semi Contact is where points are awarded  to competitors by stopping the  bout and awarding a point or points a contestant. This section is sometimes called stop start because of this. The contact is controlled and mandatory safety equipment is must be worn by all competitors.  Alternatively some freestyle competitors compete in Light continuous is tip tap light contact and continual bouts like boxing. Malympex have a choice and you can select up to 5 categories in which to compete.

WAKO, WKA, ISKA, NBL, AMA, NAPMA, WUKO, WKF, EKF, WUMA, NAKMAS, World Martial Arts and Karate Kickboxing organizations or organisations in MMA competitions for martial arts.

The total of 64 MALYMPEX medals can be won for semi contact and light continuous sections. Each gold medal represents a championship title. The silver medal is for 2nd place.

Gold Medallist's in the main event are world champions.

Silver Medallists are ranked No 2 in the world ratings.
